Shopping List for Oven Barbecued Steaks
Rub steaks with side of clove of garlic. Place in shallow baking pan; roast uncovered 30 minutes in 350 F oven. Brown onion in melted butter in heavy skillet.
Add remaining ingredients, stir, and cover. Simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
After steaks have baked 30 minutes, pour sauce over top. Roast additional 45 minutes basting frequently.
